🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Production planning: Assign daily tasks, manage workflow and help meet production deadlines.
- Quality control: Inspect welds against blueprints, applicable codes and quality standards.
- Workplace safety: Enforce PPE requirements, conduct safety audits and maintain a clean 6S work environment.
- Team leadership: Support hiring, training, mentoring and performance evaluations.
- Technical oversight: Coordinate welding, cutting and assembly operations using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW processes.
- Documentation: Maintain welding procedure specifications (WPS) and employee certification records.
🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on welding experience.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of AWS welding codes, metallurgy, blueprints and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core welding processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, team-training and problem-solving skills.
- AWS Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) certification is highly desirable.

The position involves working in a manufacturing facility with possible exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and forklift traffic.
