ER70S-6:

This is a mild steel wire and one of the most commonly used types for MIG welding.

It works well on clean, oil-free, and rust-free base metals. It produces good welds with a smooth bead appearance and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including automotive, fabrication, and general repairs.


ER308L: This stainless steel wire is used for welding 304 and 304L stainless steel, which are commonly used in food processing, dairy, and chemical industries. It offers good corrosion resistance and is suitable for applications requiring strength and durability.


ER4043: This aluminum wire is used for welding aluminum and aluminum alloys. It provides good fluidity and crack resistance, making it suitable for welding applications involving high thermal conductivity metals like aluminum.


ER5356: Another aluminum wire option, ER5356 is ideal for welding 5xxx series aluminum alloys. It offers good corrosion resistance and is commonly used in marine and automotive applications.

ER71T-1: This is a flux-cored wire that doesn't require shielding gas. It is often used for outdoor welding where wind and drafts can blow away the shielding gas in traditional MIG welding.


ER80S-D2: This wire is designed for welding high-strength, low-alloy steels such as those used in heavy equipment and structural applications.


ER316L: This is a stainless steel wire used for welding 316 and 316L stainless steels, which are often used in marine and chemical processing applications.


When selecting a MIG welding wire, consider factors such as

the type of base metal, the desired weld characteristics, the welding position
(flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead), and the availability of shielding
gas.
